A guide to walking a large-scale outdoor labyrinth and a printable finger labyrinth and prayer guide for classroom use.
This guide forms part of a suite of resources prepared by Lutheran Education Australia to encourage and support worship
and devotional life in schools and Early Childhood Services. It is intended for use by those working with Primary-aged students.
Teachers working with Junior Primary children may also find the ‘Worship in the Early Years’ resource helpful.
Lutheran schools and early childhood services have regular worship services and other faith practices as a central part of our mission, because they are the way we meet Jesus, form a relationship with God and are built up and shaped in the faith.
Devotions can be a powerful and meaningful experience for primary students, but they should be tailored to match the class’s age and stage. This guide will look at the needs of this age group and provide some ideas for organising devotions in primary schools.
